Sesame vegetables with chicken and onions

INGREDIENTS:

  • For the vegetables…
  • 1 carrot
  • 4 bok choy, cut roughly
  • 1 medium head of broccoli, including stems
  • 2 stalks of celery
  • 1/4 cup of water
  • 1-2 T sesame oils
  • salt and pepper to taste

For the chicken…

  • 4 chicken thighs, flattened
  • 1/2 a brown onion, sliced into rings
  • 2 medium cloves of garlic
  • 4 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
  • salt and pepper, to taste

METHOD:

  1. Peel carrot and set aside.
  2. Cut remaining vegetables and cook with water at high temp in wok, covered with a lid, for about 10 minutes. Add sesame oil and salt and pepper and cook for a remaining few minutes, or until just tender.
  3. Heat barbeque and cook chicken ingredients until cooked.

Serve and enjoy
