You Will Be
We are looking for an amazing office administrator to join or team as a Care Assistant. The role will ideally start in November and be approximately 20-25 hours per week. The role will have consistent hours, and includes working one evening finishing at 8pm, every second Saturday and holiday relief when needed.

You will answer patient phone calls, online enquiries and welcome patients to our Centre. You will carefully schedule appointments, process payments and health fund claims. You will be meticulous with handling patient's paperwork and records. You will be kept busy attending to patient needs and the day-to-day flow of the office. You will also provide office support to our Office Coordinator by completing special projects as needed.

Naturopathic Testing Technician

This role involves seeing patients on an appointment basis to conduct specialised pathology tests, including microscopic blood analysis (live blood analysis), food intolerance testing, urine and saliva, and other blood tests. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills, with full training provided.

You have minimum of intermediate computer skills
You have a caring and warm nature
You are time efficient
You have a customer-focused attitude
Previous experience in pathology or nursing, or are currently studying in this field (preferable, but not essential criteria)

Recent graduates or students of natural therapy courses are encouraged to apply if they are flexible with their study commitments.

Hours: approximately 20-25 hours per week, including one evening shift finishing at 8pm.

Marketing Coordinator - FILLED

Are you a marketing guru with a love of natural health? Mullen Natural Health Centre are looking for you!

We're seeking a motivated and enthusiastic team member to join the team of one of Australia's leading naturopathy clinics based in Hamilton (Newcastle).

If you are a driven and creative individual with a passion for coordinating our office, we'd love you to get in touch.

The key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Digital marketing, including website maintenance and content management
  • Social media coordination, including Facebook ad creation
  • Traditional advertising, including radio coordination
  • Management and coordination of special projects
  • Day-to-day administration tasks
  • Diary and work in progress management

We would love to hear from you if you:

  • Have a strong interest in natural health
  • Are highly organised with a strong work ethic
  • Are proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and Mailchimp
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Have excellent attention to detail

Desirable skillsets:

  • Relevant experience in a similar coordinator role
  • Google Adwords management.
  • Basic graphic design skills and experience using Adobe Creative Suite.

To be successful in this position you will:

  • Be a fully qualified Naturopath (specialising in women's health and natural fertility) who is passionate about health and wellbeing
  • Have excellent communication skills and a proven ability to build a rapport with varied patients
  • Have the desire and drive to build a loyal client base independently, and as part of a team.
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Training or experience with Hemaview, and Bio-Impedance Analysis is an advantage
  • Be willing to conduct group training sessions and in-practice talks

As a Naturopath with us, your roles and responsibilities will include:

  • Naturopathic consultation with our varied patients
  • Naturopathic testing
  • Prescribing courses of treatment and programs in line with our practice systems and procedures
  • Being involved in marketing, promotional events and activities that promote the practice and bring in new patients

The successful candidate will be provided with training in our unique consultation system, have access to combined marketing, and will enjoy the goodwill associated with our longstanding Newcastle practice. In return, we expect our practitioners to be team players with a professional appearance and manner, and have a strong desire to grow their own loyal client base.
